What is an Embed Code?

If you want to add a virtual tour or video to your property, you'll likely need an embed code.

What is an embed code?

An embed code is a short HTML code snippet that allows you to embed media content on a website that is hosted elsewhere. It also contains some basic styling information to ensure your content looks its best!

What does an embed code look like?

There are several ways you can share media content online. When looking for your embed code, look for something that begins with HTML iframe tags. Your embed code should look something like this:

<iframe width="100%" height="640"
src="https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=A1B2cdEfGhI"
frameborder="0" allowfullscreen allow="vr"></iframe>

You will need to copy and paste this entire code snippet into the corresponding field for your embed code.

Where do I put my embed code?

You may be using an embed code to add either a virtual tour or a video to your website and/or ILS ads. Use the articles below to learn where to put your embed code for each content type.
