Using Interpolation in your Automated Email Responses

If you're looking to personalize your automated email responses, here's a quick tutorial on how to accomplish this.

Using interpolation:

To help you personalize your automated emails, we've made it possible to use interpolation in each email response. 

This function is available in any of the automated responses options in the Rentsync Platform. 

All interpolation is done by adding a "key" in double square brackets within your text.
Example: "Hi, [[full_name]]"

The "key" can be the "Form Name" of any field in your form (located under "Show Advanced"). If your Form Name says "[auto]", you can add one yourself or save the form to generate one first.

Interpolation keys can also be one of the following predefined keys, which refer to the details of a property or city if one is selected in some way.

For any Rentsync Platform Automated Response:

Property:

property (or building)
building_header
building_type
address (or property_address)
street_number
street_name
intersection
neighbourhood
postal
contact_name
property_phone (or phone)
extension

City:

city
province
province_code
country
country_code 

For Rentsync Tours Automated Responses only:

tour_date
tour_time
agent_email

 

Interpolation Example:

Hi [[contact_name]], 

Thank you for your interest in [[property]] at [[property_address]]! We would love to arrange a 5 minute call with you, to help determine your housing needs.

We'll be reaching out to you shortly and look forward to speaking with you soon.
