How can I pay my Rentsync invoices online with a credit card?

We offer an easy option to view your outstanding and past paid invoices in the Rentsync Platform and pay online.

To view your past and current invoices in the Rentsync Platform, you must have access to the Accounting section in your account. An existing admin can edit user access to this area of your account; please note Rentsync personnel cannot activate access for you.

Items of note:

Rentsync does not store credit card numbers or data. 

  • Stripe Minimum payment amount: $0.51 (51 cents) for single invoices
  • There are no transaction fees when paying your invoices with Stripe via Rentsync
  • Stripe only accepts credit cards and visa debit cards; regular debit cards or bank transfers are not accepted

Navigate to your invoices in-app:

  • Click on your account icon, in the top-right corner to open your options
    • Select "+ Accounting" from the list
    • Click on "Invoices" from the drop down options
  • In the main page area, you'll see a comprehensive list of all of your past and current Rentsync invoices

Use the filters to find the invoice(s) you need:

  • Click on any of the up/down arrows in the column titles to group sort
  • Use the "Invoice Status" filter to choose to see only invoices that are either: Paid, Overdue or Unpaid. Choosing "unpaid" will not show overdue invoices. 
  • If you have ownership groups set up in your account already, you can choose the "Ownership Groups" filter option to see only invoices that apply to your chosen groups
  • Last, select "Invoice Date" to narrow down your invoice list by date - choose from our pre-existing options or create your own custom date range by selecting that option and using the calendar pop-up on the right to select the dates you wish.
  • You can always use the search bar to enter a specific invoice number

 

Paying a single invoice:

  • For any single invoice waiting to be paid, you will see the green 'pay' button on the line item at the far right
  • Once you click the 'pay' button, you'll be brought to our Rentsync x Stripe payment screen. Here you can view the invoice payment owing amount and pay it in full by completing your payment info to the right
  • To pay a partial amount on a single invoice, select the grey 'change amount' button under the total owning amount. You'll be able to enter a custom dollar amount. The minimum payment Stripe accepts is $0.51 (51 cents)
    • Once you've adjusted your payment amount, fill in your payment info to the right
  • To submit your payment, click on the blue "Pay" button, that includes text of the total amount you will be charged
    • Do not refresh or close the payment page while the payment is still processing
    • Once the payment has processed, you should see a confirmation message

Paying multiple invoices at once:

  • Select the checkboxes to the left of each invoice line item you wish to pay OR select the red "Total Outstanding Amount" button in the top-right to select ALL unpaid and overdue invoices
    • You must select at least 2 invoices for the bulk pay option to appear; there is no maximum
  • Once you're finished selecting your invoices to be paid, click on the green "Bulk Pay Invoices" button in the top-right
  • Review your chosen invoices in the pop-up screen and click the purple 'pay' button to continue
    • If you've selected an invoice in error and wish to remove it, click on the grey garbage can icon to the right of the invoice you want to remove
  • You will be brought to the Rentsync x Stripe payment screen. Here you can view the total amount owning, as well as the breakdown of each invoice you selected
    • Please note: You cannot make a partial payment when paying multiple invoices at once; it must be paid in full
    • Complete your payment info on the right side and select the blue 'pay' button when finished, to submit your payment
    • Do not refresh or close the payment page while the payment is still processing
    • Once the payment has processed, you should see a confirmation message

Other in-app payment features:

  • After you make a payment and navigate back to the Rentsync Platform, you'll be prompted to 'refresh' your page. Do so and you'll see your updated balance owing in the top right corner
  • Click the Screen Shot 2023-11-09 at 11.02.27 AMicon beside each invoice number to download your invoice
