Edit the Featured Image on a Page

The featured image is typically the hero image on a particular page on your website.

Change a Page's Featured Image

  1. Click “Websites” from the main navigation bar
  2. Click "Website List" from the sub menu
  3. Click on the card for the website you wish to make changes to
  4. Click "Pages" in the sub menu on the left, under the website you chose
  5. From the scrollable "Pages" section, click on the name of the page you want to edit
  6. In the far right column on the page, click the "Manage" link beside the Featured Images heading
  7. Click the "Upload Files" button to add your new image
  8. Click the "Save" button to finish

Homepage Hero Section

On most Rentsync websites, the homepage has its own hero or banner section that is separate from the Featured Image field. This section typically lives under the Custom Fields tab and may be named things like Hero Section or Homepage Hero Content, depending on your website's theme.

This section usually controls its own heading, subheading, body content, button, and image or video, independently of the Featured Image field in the right sidebar.

If you update your homepage's Featured Image and don't see a visual change on the live site, check Custom Fields for a hero or banner panel instead.
