Update Your Property Description

Keep your listing compelling and informative by updating your property's description, location and community highlights and save time with Rentsync's built-in AI writing tool.

Both the Main Property Description and Location and Community Details fields have their own independent AI generation buttons. Use them separately to craft distinct, targeted content: one focused on the building and suites, the other on the neighbourhood and community.`

Update the Main Property Description

  1. Click "Properties" from the main menu
  2. Click "Property List" from the sub menu
  3. Choose a property from the list
  4. Scroll down to the "Property Description" section
  5. Click inside the "Main Property Description" text editor and type or paste your description
  6. Use the formatting toolbar to apply bold, italics, bullet points, or other styling as needed
  7. Click the "Save" button at the bottom right to finish

 

Tip: Use your Main Property Description to sell the building itself. Think about what makes someone want to live there: highlight building amenities (gym, rooftop terrace, concierge, pet-friendly spaces), suite features (in-suite laundry, modern appliances, open-concept layouts, private balconies), and anything else that sets your property apart from the competition.

 

Note: When importing content from external platforms like Microsoft Word or a Google Doc, background code can often disrupt your layout. To prevent these formatting errors, simply click the "T with a slash" icon to clear out the original source styles.

Use the AI Tool to Generate a Property Description

  1. Navigate to the "Property Description" section within Property Details (see steps 1–4 above)
  2. Click the "Create New Description For Me" button next to the "Main Property Description" label
  3. Select any Property / Unit Amenities, Descriptive Style, demographic and up to 5 custom tags to include in your description. Click on “Generate Description” Wait a moment while the AI generates a description based on your property's existing information
  4. Review the generated text in the editor. Make any edits or adjustments to better reflect your property's voice and brand, and ensure it covers your key amenities and property features.
  5. Click the "Save" button at the bottom right to finish

 

Note: You can generate up to 10 property descriptions per property per month.

Update Location and Community Details

  1. Navigate to the "Property Description" section within Property Details (see steps 1–4 above)
  2. Scroll down to the "Location and Community Details" text editor
  3. Click inside the editor and type or paste content describing why someone would want to live in the neighbourhood: think nearby parks and green spaces, schools, restaurants and shopping, transit access, recreational facilities, local events, and anything else that makes the area a great place to call home
  4. Use the formatting toolbar to apply any desired styling
  5. Click the "Save" button at the bottom right to finish

  3. Select a descriptive style, demographic and up to 5 custom tags to include in your description. Click on “Generate Description” Wait a moment while the AI generates a description based on your property's existing information.
  4. Review and edit the generated text to ensure it accurately reflects the neighbourhood and speaks to why someone would want to live in the area
  5. Click the "Save" button at the bottom right to finish
