Reset Your Password or Regain Account Access

Can't log in? Here are the quickest ways to get back into your Rentsync account.

Reset your own password from the login page

If you remember your email address but have forgotten your password, you can reset it yourself at any time.

  1. Go to app.rentsync.com
  2. Click "Forgot Password" below the login fields
  3. Enter the email address associated with your Rentsync account
  4. Click "Send Reset Email"
  5. Check your inbox for a password reset email and follow the link to set a new password

Tip: If you don't see the reset email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

Request a password reset from your account Administrator

If you are unable to use the forgot password option, your company's Rentsync Account Administrator can send you a reset email directly from the platform.

Administrators: To send a password reset to a user:

  1. Click on your account profile icon in the top right corner of the Rentsync Platform
  2. Click "+ User Management"
  3. Click "Users" from the sub menu
  4. Click on the name of the user who needs the reset
  5. Click the purple "Send Reset Email" button
  6. The user will receive an email with a link to set a new password

Tip: Password reset invitation links expire after 24 hours. If the user does not receive the email or the link has expired, simply send another reset from this same page.

If you cannot access the email address on your account

Contact support@rentsync.com from any email address and include your company name, the email address on your Rentsync account, and your request to update the login email. Our team will verify your identity and assist you.

If your account appears locked or inaccessible

Some accounts may appear locked after multiple failed login attempts. Contact support@rentsync.com and include your company name and the email address you are trying to log in with. Our team will look into it and help restore your access.

Note: Only Administrators can add new users or change which User Group a user belongs to. If you need access to a Rentsync account for the first time, ask your company's Rentsync Account Administrator to invite you. See Add and Manage Users for instructions.
